The Orlando Magic and Detroit Pistons meet Wednesday in NBA action at the Little Caesars Arena. Here’s a Detroit Pistons vs Orlando Magic Prediction. This article will include a Detroit Pistons vs Orlando Magic Pick.

Orlando Magic Betting Preview

The Orlando Magic lost to the Knicks, beat the Nets, and they play the Raptors, Jazz, and Knicks next. Paolo Banchero is averaging 29 points and 5.6 assists, while Franz Wagner is averaging 24.4 points and 5.6 rebounds. Detroit Pistons vs Orlando Magic Injury Report

The Magic will be without Moritz Wagner, Franz Wagner, and Paolo Banchero. Anthony Black and Jalen Suggs are questionable for the Magic. Black has a back injury and Suggs is dealing with a wrist sprain. Suggs has been the leader for the banged-up Magic and is having a breakout year, averaging 16.5 points and 3.8 assists.

The Pistons only have Bobi Klintman on their injury report, as he’s out with a calf injury.

Why the Detroit Pistons will Beat the Orlando Magic

  • The Magic have lost each of their last nine road games against Central Division opponents.
  • The Pistons have won seven of their last eight games following a road loss.
  • The Pistons have covered the spread in 10 of their last 11 home games against the Magic following a road loss.
  • The Magic have failed to cover the spread in each of their last five night games at Little Caesars Arena.

Total Points Facts

  • Each of the Pistons’ last six games has gone OVER the total points line.
  • Each of the Magic’s last four games as underdogs have gone UNDER the total points line.

Detroit Pistons vs Orlando Magic Prediction

The Magic and the points are worth a look as they get after it defensively and play hard, but already down the Wagner brothers and Banchero, on top of possibly Suggs, it becomes too much. The Pistons are as healthy as they’ve been all year, and they’ve quietly won 5 of their last 8 games. We’ve seen the Magic lose 5 of their last 8 games, and there’s only so much a team can overcome injury-wise. If Suggs doesn’t play, the Magic are without the core of their roster, and you have to question where the offense is going to come from. Even if Suggs does play, a wrist issue for a basketball player isn’t ideal.

Of course, check the injury report before betting, but I’ll lay the bucket with the Pistons at home.
