The Brooklyn Nets invade the Chase Center to take on the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night.

The Brooklyn Nets have been in a rut as they will be hoping to put an end to a three-game skid after coming up short against the Nuggets in a 124-118 home loss on Wednesday. Cam Thomas led the team in scoring with 25 points off the bench, Patty Mills added 21 points with six assists while LaMarcus Aldridge chipped in with 18 points. As a team, the Nets shot 48 percent from the field and 12 of 29 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 37 points in the second quarter to build an early 12-point lead, but all their hard work went to waste in the third quarter where they allowed 42 points as they had no answer for the Nuggets’ duo of Austin Rivers and Nikola Jokic.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been on a nice run lately as they’ve won five of their past six games and they will be aiming for a fifth straight victory after outlasting the Timberwolves in a 124-115 home win on Thursday. Stephen Curry led the team with 29 points, eight rebounds and six assists, Klay Thompson added 23 points on nine of 16 shooting while Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole each scored 19 points. As a team, the Warriors shot 53 percent from the field and a sizzling 21 of 36 from the 3-point line as they struggled to match the intensity of the Timberwolves early on and trailed for most of the first half, before taking over in the third quarter where they outscored the Timberwolves by 38-20 to lead by as many as 16 points.

Looking at the betting trends, the Nets are 1-5 ATS in their last six games playing on two days’ rest, 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record and 4-11-1 ATS in their last 16 games overall. The Warriors are 35-17-2 ATS in their last 54 home games, 20-7-1 ATS in their last 28 games against a team with a winning record and 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine games following a win.

Head to head, the under is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings overall, the Nets are 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings overall and the Nets are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings in Golden State.

The Nets will again be shorthanded as Joe Harris and Kevin Durant are both out, while the Warriors will be missing Andre Iguodala and Draymond Green while Nemanja Bjelica is listed as questionable. The Nets did a nice job of staying in the contest against the Nuggets on Wednesday despite missing all their best players, but it’s going to be tough against the Warriors who look better with every game that Thompson plays alongside Curry. The Nets have the betting trends in their favor, but they don’t have the firepower to hang with the Warriors in this spot.
