The Los Angeles Clippers pay a visit to the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center on Tuesday night.

The Los Angeles Clippers have been in fine form as they’ve won seven of their last nine games overall, but they will be eager to bounce back in this one after having their five-game win streak halted by the Knicks in a 116-93 loss on Sunday. Amir Coffey led the team in scoring with 16 points off the bench, Isaiah Hartenstein added 14 points with four assists while Terance Mann chipped in with 11 points, eight rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Clippers shot just 37 percent from the field and 11 of 34 from the 3-point line as they were slow out of the gates and managed just 18 points in the second quarter to fall behind by 19 points at halftime, before getting completely blown out in the fourth quarter where the Knicks poured in 36 points. Reggie Jackson had a forgettable night as he scored just 10 points on four of 18 shooting from the field and zero of eight from the 3-point line while Nicolas Batum shot just two of 10 for his seven points.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been in terrible shape as they’ve lost nine of their last 11 games overall and they will be hoping to arrest a five-game slide after getting stopped by the Nuggets in a 131-124 road loss last night. Jordan Poole drained eight 3-pointers to lead the team with 32 points and seven assists, Moses Moody added 30 points, Jonathan Kuminga added 16 points off the bench while Kevon Looney tallied 13 points with 11 rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Warriors shot 51 percent from the field and 17 of 40 from the 3-point line as they did a nice job of hanging with the Nuggets in a close contest until late in the fourth quarter where the Nuggets closed the final 2:29 on a 12-8 run to slip away in the end. The Warriors showed plenty of fight to stay in the contest for as long as they did with all the injuries they’re currently dealing with, but they just had no way of slowing the Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic who torched them for a triple-double.

Looking at the betting trends, the Clippers are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games and 7-2 ATS in their last nine games overall. The Warriors are 0-6 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record, 0-6 ATS in their last six home games and 1-10-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall.

Head to head, the Clippers are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings overall and the Clippers are 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in Golden State.

The Clippers were quietly one of the hottest teams in the league before getting stopped in their tracks by the slumping Knicks on Sunday, so they will be eager to atone for that embarrassment in this outing. The Warriors will again be without Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala but they should have Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry back in action after they sat out last night. I would certainly check the lineups before tipoff, but assuming that the Warriors are still shorthanded, I’d go with the Clippers and the points in a game they could win outright.
