The Sacramento Kings and the Golden State Warriors collide at the Chase Center on Wednesday night.

Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings have won two of three games and they will be eager to stay hot after outlasting the Lakers in a thrilling 132-127 overtime win on Sunday. De’Aaron Fox led the team with 37 points and eight assists on 14 of 24 shooting, Malik Monk added 22 points off the bench while Keegan Murray chipped in with 17 points, eight rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Kings shot 47 percent from the field and 17 of 48 from the 3-point line as they squandered a 15-point lead in regulation, before they made up for it in overtime to escape with the hard-fought win.

Golden State Warriors

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors are starting to heat up now as they are now aiming for a fourth straight victory after blowing past the Pelicans in a 130-102 road win on Monday. Stephen Curry drained seven 3-pointers to lead the way with 42 points on 15 of 22 shooting, while Moses Moody and Chris Paul scored 13 points each. As a team, the Warriors shot 52 percent from the field and 15 of 41 from the 3-point line as they led by just two points at halftime, before they exploded for 71 points in the second half to earn their biggest win of the season so far.

Peter’s Pick

The Kings are shorthanded in this one as De’Aaron Fox and Trey Lyles are both out, while the Warriors are keeping an eye on Jonathan Kuminga who is questionable with knee soreness. The Kings have played well so far this season and they would’ve taken plenty of confidence from their thrilling win over the Lakers, but they’re a little shorthanded here against the Warriors who just put on 130 points against the Pelicans. This should be a close one, but given how important Fox is to the Kings, I’m going with the Warriors to take advantage and get the win and cover at home.

Joe Hall's Free Pick: Golden State -7.5
