Kings vs Heat Player Prop Bets – Jimmy Butler Over 31.5 Points, Assists, and Rebounds (-115)
The Miami Heat are going through their worst period of the season. Not only they lost seven in a row, but five of those seven defeats came by a double-digit margin. Interestingly, since Jimmy Butler returned from his seven-game absence, the Heat won only one game.
Butler combined for 32+ PTS, AST, and REB in four of the previous eight outings, including the last two, when he scored 28 and 26 points, respectively. The main problem for Butler is that he’s not taking a lot of shots; in seven of the past eight games, he attempted 12 or fewer shots. That’s why it’s tricky to bet on him, but Butler still scores plenty of points from the free-throw line, and I am hoping for those free buckets tonight.
Sacramento allows 21.8 ppg, 7.3 rpg, and 4.1 apg to the opposing small forwards. Butler should be good to go for 20+ points, and given he averages 5.1 rpg and 4.3 apg this season, I believe he will be a winning pick.
De’Aaron Fox Over 2.5 Threes Made (+110)
I missed the bet on De’Aaron Fox and 3+ triples last time out, but I think he will hit in this game. Miami allows 3.4 three-pointers per game to the opposing point guards this season, and I am sure Fox will take 7+ shots from beyond the arc.
Fox was hot and cold from downtown recently but is having a season of his career and averages 3.1 threes per contest. He managed to make 3+ shots from distance in three of the last six games, but only scored one in each of the past two showings. That’s why I am backing him to bounce back against a not-very-good perimeter defense. At least not a good one against point guards.
Although I usually back the trends and H2H stats, I am going against those now. Namely, Fox is 15.8% from beyond the arc in ten career games against Miami; he scored just six triples against the Heat. He is getting 3+ triples tonight!
