Knicks vs Pistons Prediction
The Pistons should be more prepared for this game after having experienced the playoffs. My game 1 write up mentioned my concerns of the Pistons lack of experience, and that fourth quarter was a clear sign of jitters. The core of the Pistons roster lacks deep NBA experience let alone playoff experience, and MSG is arguably the toughest venue to play in the playoffs. That crowd gets nuts.
Either way, the Pistons are now 2-7 SU and ATS in their last nine games. The Knicks are just more trustworthy at this time of the year, and they’re also 6-0 ATS in their last six games as a favorite of five or more points. I think things could be different once things shift to Detroit, but I’m laying the points again in New York.
