As a team, the Nuggets shot 43 percent from the field and 11 of 34 from the 3-point line as they struggled to get going and found themselves in a real arm wrestle with the pesky Spurs, until they opened the fourth quarter on a decisive 13-3 run to start to pull away. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers have been in decent shape as they’ve won five of their last eight games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back here after having their three-game win streak halted by the Kings in a 109-95 road loss on Tuesday. Russell Westbrook led the team with 20 points off the bench, Paul George added 18 points while Norman Powell chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Clippers shot just 40 percent from the field and 11 of 27 from the 3-point line as they did their best to hang with the Kings in the first half, but then the Clippers got outscored by 35-19 in the third quarter to fall behind by as many as 26 points at one stage.

The Clippers are more than capable of pulling off the minor upset at home. However, the Clippers didn’t look great against the Kings in their last outing, and I think they’re in trouble if they got off to another slow start. The Nuggets are one of the hottest teams in the league and I think they get the win and cover at the short line.
