Portland Trail Blazers Betting Preview
The Portland Trail Blazers have been in great form so far as they’ve won six of their first seven games and they will be gunning for a fourth straight victory after blowing past the Suns in a 132-119 road win on Wednesday. Damian Lillard led the team with 25 points and five assists, Donovan Clingan tallied 24 points with 11 rebounds and three blocks while Deni Avdija scored 21 points with seven rebounds and 12 assists. As a team, the Trail Blazers shot 51 percent from the field and 14 of 39 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 43 points in the second quarter to take control of the contest and they kept applying the pressure until their lead ballooned to 22 points.
Los Angeles Lakers Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers have been in great shape also as they’ve won seven of their first nine games and they are riding a three-game win streak after taking down the Kings in a 116-103 road win on Wednesday. Luka Doncic continued his red-hot form with 40 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, Austin Reaves added 21 points with four assists while Walker Kessler chipped in with 15 points, eight rebounds, three steals and four blocks. As a team, the Lakers shot 45 percent from the field and 12 of 38 from the 3-point line as they went on an 11-2 run late in the second quarter to pull ahead, before they went on another 14-2 run in the third quarter to put the game to bed early.

The Trail Blazers have ruled out Ja Morant, Shaedon Sharpe and Vit Krejci, while the Lakers are keeping an eye on Sandro Mamukelashvili who is questionable with an illness.
These two squads last met on Oct 27 and it was the Lakers who won by 136-129 in a shootout at home. The Lakers got off to a quick start and led for most of the contest, but they never got enough defensive stops to pull away and it cost them in the fourth quarter where the Trail Blazers finished with a flurry to snatch the game at the end. The Lakers have barely missed a step since that meeting while the Trail Blazers have lost Morant to injury, so I am leaning towards the red-hot Lakers to get some revenge in this spot.
