Devin Booker led the team with 24 points and eight assists on nine of 17 shooting, Kevin Durant added 23 points with 10 rebounds and five assists while Jusuf Nurkic chipped in with 18 points, 19 rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Suns shot 45 percent from the field and eight of 28 from the 3-point line as they outpaced the Grizzlies for most of the game to build a 13-point lead in the third quarter, only to let it all go to waste in the fourth quarter where they were outscored by 35-18.

As a team, the Clippers shot just 39 percent from the field and 14 of 37 from the 3-point line as they went on a fourth quarter rally to overcome a 10-point deficit, only to come up painfully short as the Clippers’ Norman Powell just missed on the team’s final shot which would have sent the game into overtime.
