The Los Angeles Lakers play host to the Golden State Warriors at the Crypto.com Arena on Saturday night.

The Golden State Warriors have been in a major slump as they’ve lost seven of their last nine games overall and they will be hoping to put a halt to a three-game skid after getting stopped by the Mavericks in a 122-113 road loss on Thursday. Jordan Poole led the team with 23 points on eight of 12 shooting off the bench, Stephen Curry added 21 points with nine assists while Andrew Wiggins chipped in with 17 points and five assists. As a team, the Warriors shot 54 percent from the field and 15 of 30 from the 3-point line as they got off to a slow start and had to claw their way back from a 14-point halftime deficit only to go ice-cold when it mattered most as they managed just five points in the final 4:28 to allow the Mavericks to slip away in the end.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers have been in a rut of their own as they’ve lost seven of their last eight games and they will be hoping to put an end to a four-game slide after getting thrashed by the Clippers in a 132-111 road loss on Thursday. LeBron James led the team with 26 points, eight rebounds and four assists, Russell Westbrook added 17 points with eight rebounds and three assists while Carmelo Anthony chipped in with 13 points off the bench. As a team, the Lakers shot 48 percent from the field and 12 of 35 from the 3-point line as they kept pace with the Clippers in the first half, before getting completely blown off the court by 40-18 in the third quarter as they had no answer for the Clippers’ Reggie Jackson who scorched them for 36 points.

Looking at the betting trends, the Warriors are 1-4-1 ATS in their last six road games, 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a losing record and 1-9-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The Lakers are 1-3-1 ATS in their last five home games, 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 0-3-1 ATS in their last four games overall.

The Warriors are again without Andre Iguodala and Draymond Green, while the Lakers are again without Anthony Davis, while Talen Horton-Tucker and LeBron James are both listed as questionable. The Lakers have really been struggling lately and their confidence took a major hit after getting run off the floor by their rivals in their last outing, so while the Warriors have been well below their best lately, I still think they get back on track with a win over the Lakers in this one.
