The Chicago Bulls travel to the FedExForum to take on the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night. Here’s a Grizzlies vs. Bulls Prediction. This article will include a Grizzlies vs. Bulls Pick.

Chicago Bulls Betting Preview

The Chicago Bulls have been in a slump as they’ve lost six of their last eight games overall and they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after getting routed by the Thunder in a 131-113 road loss last night. Collin Sexton led the team with 22 points on eight of 14 shooting, Tre Jones added 21 points with seven rebounds and nine assists, while Isaac Okoro chipped in with 20 points. As a team, the Bulls shot 42 percent from the field and 15 of 47 from the 3-point line as they hit the ground running with 67 points in the first half to take the early lead, but it didn’t last long at all as the Bulls got outscored by 69-46 in the second half to get blown out anyway. Patrick Williams had a rough game as he shot just one of eight from the field to finish with just four points, while Josh Giddey scored just five points on one of 11 shots from the field.

Memphis Grizzlies Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have been in a major slump as they’ve lost 13 of their last 14 games overall and they will be hoping to snap a five-game losing streak after getting beaten by the Rockets in a 119-109 loss last night. Olivier-Maxence Prosper led the team with 31 points on 12 of 15 shooting; GG Jackson and Javon Small each scored 14 points, while Cam Spencer chipped in with 11 points and 10 assists. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 44 percent from the field and 13 of 37 from the 3-point line as they took the fight to the Rockets and hung tough in a close contest until midway through the fourth quarter, where they fell behind by 12 points. Tyler Burton had a rough game as he shot just two of 10 from the field for his five points, while Taylor Hendricks shot just two of 11 from the field for his five points.

Why the Memphis Grizzlies will win

  • The Bulls have lost seven of their last eight games as road favorites.
  • The Grizzlies have won eight of their last nine home games with both teams on the second leg of a back-to-back.
  • The Bulls have failed to cover the spread in 11 of their last 12 road games against teams that held a losing record.
  • The Grizzlies have covered the spread in seven of their last eight games against Central Division opponents that held a losing record.

Why the Chicago Bulls will win

  • The Bulls have won each of their last 10 games against Grizzlies teams that held a losing record.
  • The Grizzlies have lost each of their last eight games on the second leg of a back-to-back.
  • The Bulls have covered the spread in each of their last 10 games against Grizzlies teams that held a losing record.
  • The Grizzlies have failed to cover the spread in six of their last seven games against Eastern Conference opponents that held a losing record.

Total Points: Facts

  • Each of the Grizzlies’ last eight games as home underdogs following a home loss have gone OVER the total points line.
  • Each of the Bulls’ last seven games with both teams on the second leg of a back-to-back has gone UNDER the total points line.

Memphis Grizzlies Player Facts

  • Cedric Coward is one of only eight qualified players in the league to be leading their team in points (13.3) and rebounds (6.1) per game this season.

Chicago Bulls Player Facts

  • Josh Giddey has recorded 10+ assists in four consecutive appearances—the equal-longest active streak of any player in the league.
  • Tre Jones ranks 2nd amongst qualified Guards for FG% (54.5%) this season.

Matchup/League Facts

  • The Grizzlies are one of only two teams to lose 12+ games when leading after Q3 this season.
  • The Grizzlies are one of only two teams to lose 15+ games when leading at HT this season.
  • The Bulls rank 29th in the league for opponent field goal attempts per game this season (93.5).
  • The Bulls rank 29th in the league for Q3 opponent points per game this season (31.6).

Grizzlies vs Bulls Prediction

The Bulls are still missing Jalen Smith, Jaden Ivey, Zach Collins and Anfernee Simons with Nick Richards and Guerschon Yabusele both questionable, while the Grizzlies are missing a host of players, including Ja Morant, Santi Aldama, Brandon Clarke, Zach Edey and Ty Jerome, to name a few. These teams last met on Mar 16 and it was the Bulls who cruised to a 132-107 home win and I think we could be in for a similar outcome here. The Bulls haven’t been at their best, but I expect Giddey to bounce back for the Bulls after last night’s poor shooting performance. You couldn’t back either side with any confidence right now, but I do prefer a play on the Bulls to get the win on the road.
