The Los Angeles Clippers and the Memphis Grizzlies collide at the FedExForum on Saturday night.

Los Angeles Clippers Betting Preview

The Los Angeles Clippers have been in decent shape as they’ve won seven of their last 12 games overall but they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after having their three-game win streak snapped by the Spurs in a heartbreaking 116-112 loss last night. Kawhi Leonard led the team with 30 points, nine rebounds and three assists, Brook Lopez added 26 points on 11 of 19 shooting while Derrick Jones Jr chipped in with 12 points. As a team, the Clippers shot 49 percent from the field and 12 of 32 from the 3-point line as they got off to a flyer and poured in 66 points in the first half to lead by as many as 25 points at one stage. However, the Clippers lost their focus and just couldn’t stop the Spurs who poured in 70 points in the second half to run down the Clippers with time to spare in the end.

Memphis Grizzlies Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have been in a real slump lately as they’ve lost nine of their last 12 games overall and they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after getting beaten by the Trail Blazers in a 122-114 loss on Wednesday. Jaylen Wells led the team with 24 points on eight of 15 shooting, GG Jackson added 20 points while Olivier-Maxence Prosper chipped in with 17 points, nine rebounds and two steals. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 45 percent from the field and 14 of 32 from the 3-point line as they got off to a solid start and were good enough to tie up the scores going into halftime following a strong second quarter, but they just had no answer for the Trail Blazers’ duo of Jrue Holiday and Jerami Grant who scorched them for 35 and 30 points respectively.

Los Angeles v Memphis Free Prediction

The Clippers are still missing Darius Garland, John Collins and Bradley Beal, while the Grizzlies have ruled out Ja Morant, Santi Aldama, Zach Edey and Brandon Clarke to name a few. The Clippers were on a nice run before last night’s defeat where they wasted a 25-point lead, but the good thing about the NBA is that they don’t have to wait long to try and bounce back. The Grizzlies have really struggled to keep their heads above water lately as they continue to deal with a lengthy injury list and I just don’t feel we’re getting enough points from the bookies in this one. The Clippers are playing their second game of a back to back set, but I think they get the bitter taste of defeat out of their mouths with a win and cover in this spot.
