As a team, the Lakers shot just 38 percent from the field and 14 of 44 from the 3-point line as they played great defense to hold the Bucks to just 13 points in the fourth quarter to erase an early 19-point deficit, before they slipped away in the second overtime period to escape with the gritty road win. The Lakers will meet the Pacers after this one.
Memphis Grizzlies
Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have been in a terrible slump as they’ve lost seven of their last nine games overall and they will be hoping for a better performance after getting thrashed by the Nuggets in a 128-103 road loss on Monday. Lamar Stevens led the team in scoring with 19 points off the bench, Scottie Pippen Jr added 17 points with four assists while GG Jackson and Desmond Bane each scored 15 points. As a team, the Grizzlies shot just 39 percent from the field and 11 of 44 from the 3-point line, but the writing was on the wall early in this one as the Grizzlies were already dead in the water after falling behind by 69-44 going into halftime. Jake LaRavia had a night to forget as he shot just one of nine from the field and zero of seven from the 3-point line to finish with just three points off the bench.
