The Miami Heat and the Memphis Grizzlies do battle at the FedExForum on Wednesday night.

The Miami Heat have been on a tear lately as they’ve won 11 of their past 12 games and they will be hoping to build on their current five-game win streak after routing the Cavaliers in a 113-98 home win last night. Jimmy Butler led the team with 28 points, 12 rebounds and four assists, Kelly Olynyk added 17 points with eight rebounds and four assists while Tyler Herro chipped in with 15 points off the bench. As a team, the Heat shot 49 percent from the field and 10 of 27 from the 3-point line as they shot out of the gates to an early double-digit lead with 37 points in the first quarter and they didn’t let up until the fourth quarter after leading by as many as 22 points.

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have been in a bit of a rut as they’ve lost four of their last five games and they will be hoping to arrest a three-game slide after getting routed by the Suns in a 122-99 road loss on Monday. Jonas Valanciunas led the team with 24 points and 17 rebounds on 11 of 14 shooting, Ja Morant and Grayson Allen each scored 15 points while Dillon Brooks chipped in with 13 points. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 43 percent from the field and just five of 23 from the 3-point line as they fell behind after allowing 36 points in the second quarter, before getting blown out in the second half where the Suns poured in 62 points.

Looking at the betting trends, the Heat are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games, 5-1 ATS in their last six games playing on zero days’ rest and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The Grizzlies are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall.

Head to head, the under is 11-4-1 in the last 16 meetings in Memphis and the Heat are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings overall.

The Heat are coming into this game with plenty of momentum as they’ve won 11 of their past 12 games and their last five straight, while the Grizzlies have cooled off lately as they’ve lost three in a row. The Heat are still shorthanded as they’ve been without Bam Adebayo, but with Butler in red-hot form, I think they can get another win and cover in this one.
