The New Orleans Pelicans travel to the FedExForum to battle the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night.

The New Orleans Pelicans have been in fine form as they were riding a four-game win streak before coming up short to the Nuggets in a 138-130 overtime road loss on Sunday. Brandon Ingram led the team with 38 points and nine assists, CJ McCollum added 24 points with nine assists while Jonas Valanciunas chipped in with 19 points and 14 rebounds. As a team, the Pelicans shot 47 percent from the field and 14 of 33 from the 3-point line as they got off to a terrible start and had to claw all the way back from 21-point deficit to lead by as many as 11 points, but they just couldn’t slow the Nuggets in the fourth quarter and it cost them in the end.

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have been in decent shape as they’ve won three of their past five games, but they will be eager to bounce back in this one after getting thrashed by the slumping Rockets in a 123-112 road loss on Sunday. Desmond Bane led the team with 28 points on 11 of 22 shooting, Steven Adams tallied 23 points with 12 rebounds and five assists while Ja Morant chipped in with 22 points and six assists, but no other player finished in double figures in scoring. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 45 percent from the field and a miserly five of 26 from the 3-point line as they poured in 62 points in the first half to lead by as many as 14 points, before getting run off the floor in the second half where the Rockets exploded for 71 points to make it a blowout loss in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Pelicans are 8-1 ATS in their last nine road games and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The Grizzlies are 6-1 ATS in their last seven home games, 19-7 ATS in their last 26 games against a team with a losing record and 36-17 ATS in their last 53 games overall.

Head to head, the under is 14-3 in the last 17 meetings in Memphis, the Pelicans are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Memphis and the Pelicans are 7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings overall.

The Pelicans were on a season-high four-game win streak before getting stopped in their tracks by the red-hot Nuggets on Sunday, so they’re still coming into this one with plenty of confidence and it’s a similar story for the Grizzlies who were building nicely, before getting ambushed by the slumping Rockets in their last outing. The Grizzlies are not surprisingly favorites at home, but the Pelicans are 7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings overall, so I’ll take them with the points in a game they could win outright.
