Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the team with 32 points, six rebounds and five assists, Chet Holmgren added 31 points with five assists on 11 of 14 shooting while Jalen Williams tallied 21 points with seven rebounds and 10 assists. As a team, the Thunder shot a sizzling 59 percent from the field and 14 of 28 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 36 points in the first quarter and they just kept up the pace till the end in a game where they never led by more than 13 points.

As a team, the Heat shot 50 percent from the field and 15 of 36 from the 3-point line as they took control of the contest in the third quarter and held off a late charge from the Rockets to earn the gritty win despite losing Kyle Lowry to injury mid-game.

The Thunder are going to be a little shorthanded here with Davis Bertans listed as questionable, while the Heat are still without Jimmy Butler, Caleb Martin and Kyle Lowry. The Thunder have been one of the form teams in the league recently, but the Heat have been playing well themselves despite all the injuries they’ve had to deal with. Both teams are coming into this contest with winning momentum and I’m expecting a close contest here, so even though the Heat have continuously punched above their weight to win plenty of games as the underdog this season, I don’t think they’re going to be able to take down the Thunder who have been on a roll lately. You can make an argument for either side, but I’m leaning towards the Thunder to get the win and cover on the road in this spot.
