Chicago Bulls Betting Preview
The Chicago Bulls will be eager to bounce back and avoid getting flattened again after getting trampled by the Raptors in a 135-92 road defeat on Wednesday. Matas Buzelis led the team in scoring with 17 points, Caleb Wilson added 16 points while Jalen Smith and Norman Powell each scored 15 points. As a team, the Bulls shot a miserly 32 percent from the field and four of 36 from the 3-point line as they struggled from the very start and got outscored by 43-23 in the first quarter, before things got even uglier in the second half. Josh Giddey had a rough game as he scored just two points on one of 10 shooting with five turnovers while Caleb Wilson racked up a total of nine turnovers.
Milwaukee Bucks Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks will be hoping for a better contest after getting smashed by the new-look Wizards in a 128-116 road defeat on Wednesday. Tyler Herro led the team with 24 points and nine assists in his debut, Jaime Jacquez Jr added 22 points on eight of 12 shooting in his first game for his new squad while Kasparas Jakucionis chipped in with 15 points off the bench. As a team, the Bucks shot 45 percent from the field and 15 of 41 from the 3-point line as they got off to a quick start thanks to their new recruits from the Miami Heat, but they were poor on defense in the second half where they leaked 77 points to lose by double digits in the end. Kyle Kuzma had a rough game as he shot just two of nine from the field for his five points.
Chicago v Milwaukee Free Prediction
The Bulls are still missing Nic Claxton and they are keeping an eye on Dailyn Swain and Jordan Hawkins who are both questionable, while the Bucks are coming in with a full squad once again. The Bulls couldn’t have looked much worse in their opening game as they fell into a massive hole early and only sunk further as the game wore on with players like Giddey unable to make a shot. The Bucks were also beaten in their first game, but there were still some positives to draw and the new players like Herro and Jacquez Jr will take some time to adjust. You couldn’t trust either side with any confidence, but the Bucks do look like decent value as the home underdog in this matchup, so I will lean with the Bucks at home.
