The Milwaukee Bucks play host to the Denver Nuggets at the Fiserv Forum on Sunday night.

The Denver Nuggets have been in fine form as they’ve won nine of their past 12 games and they will be eager to build on their current four-game win streak after routing the Pelicans in a 116-105 road win on Friday. Nikola Jokic led the team with a triple-double of 29 points with 13 rebounds and 10 assists, Aaron Gordon added 20 points while Monte Morris chipped in with 13 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. As a team, the Nuggets shot 50 percent from the field and 12 of 33 from the 3-point line as they held the Pelicans to just 17 points in the first quarter to take the early lead into halftime, before hitting their groove in the second half where they poured in 66 points to extend their win streak to four games. DeMarcus Cousins had a forgettable game as he finished with just six points on one of seven shooting off the bench before getting ejected.

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks have been building nicely as they’ve won four of their past five games and they will be looking to stay hot after blowing past the Knicks in a 123-108 home win on Friday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team with 38 points, 13 rebounds and five assists on 12 of 19 shooting, Jrue Holiday added 24 points with 10 assists while Khris Middleton chipped in with 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Bucks shot 46 percent from the field and 14 of 43 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 39 points in the first quarter to jump out in front early, but they couldn’t pull away until the fourth quarter where they went on a decisive 15-3 run to make it a blowout in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Nuggets are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games following a win of more than 10 points, 1-4-1 ATS in their last six road games and 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven games overall. The Bucks are 0-4 ATS in their last four games following a win of more than 10 points and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall.

Head to head, the under is 6-2 in the last eight meetings in Milwaukee and the Nuggets are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Milwaukee.

The Nuggets are going to be missing some key players once again as Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. are both out, but DeMarcus Cousins and Will Barton are both listed as probable. The Bucks could also be without some key players as Patrick Beverley and D’Angelo Russell are both listed as questionable, while Josh Okogie is day to day. These two teams have already met once this season with the Bucks winning by 120-109 back on Nov 26. But Jokic was out injured on that occasion. I think the Bucks get the win once again, but I have this one going down to the wire, so I’m taking the Nuggets with the points.
