Anthony Edwards led the team with 28 points, nine rebounds and five assists, Karl-Anthony Towns added 22 points with 13 rebounds and three assists while Rudy Gobert chipped in with 12 points and 19 rebounds. As a team, the Timberwolves shot 43 percent from the field and 13 of 35 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in control when they restricted the Bucks to just 20 points in the second quarter to take the early lead, but they let their hard work go to waste in the third quarter where they got outscored by an incredible 36-13.
