As a team, the Bulls shot 50 percent from the field and nine of 30 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in good shape when they took the lead going into halftime, but then the Bulls fell victim to a barrage of 3-pointers and allowed 78 points in the second half to lose big in the end.

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves have been in red-hot form as they’ve won seven of their last eight games overall and they will be aiming for a fifth straight win after routing the Nuggets in a 111-98 road win on Friday. Anthony Edwards led the team with 25 points and five assists, Mike Conley added 23 points and eight assists while Rudy Gobert chipped in with 21 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks. As a team, the Timberwolves shot 51 percent and nine of 28 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Nuggets from the start, taking a 19-point lead into halftime and they kept their foot on the gas until they led by 26 points in the third quarter.

If Edwards is able to suit up, I like the Timberwolves to run past this struggling Bulls team, who just got smashed by the lowly Nets in their last game.
