The Golden State Warriors travel to the Target Center to battle the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night.

Golden State Warriors Betting Preview

The Golden State Warriors started their season with three straight defeats but they will be feeling much better after a dominant 134-114 road win over the Nuggets on Monday. Yaxel Lendeborg led the team with 31 points, 12 rebounds and six assists, Stephen Curry added 24 points on eight of eight shooting while Brandin Podziemski chipped in with 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Warriors shot 54 percent from the field and a sizzling 22 of 44 from the 3-point line while hustling on defense and outrebounding the Nuggets by 50-36. The Warriors did most of their damage in the second half where they poured in 74 points to lead by as many as 24 points at one stage.

Minnesota Timberwolves Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves started their season with three impressive blowout wins, before they got stopped in their tracks by the Cavaliers in a 127-125 overtime road defeat on Monday. Anthony Edwards led the team with a game-high 47 points on 19 of 34 shooting, Jaden McDaniels and Terrence Shannon Jr each scored 14 points while Rudy Gobert collected 20 rebounds but shot zero of nine from the field. As a team, the Timberwolves shot 48 percent from the field and 13 of 40 from the 3-point line as they caught fire early to jump out to a 15-point lead, but they allowed the Cavaliers back into the contest and it cost them in overtime where they fell just short.

Golden State v Minnesota Free Prediction

The Warriors are still missing Kristaps Porzingis, Jimmy Butler III and Moses Moody with Yaxel Lendeborg listed as questionable, while the Timberwolves are expecting to be without Anthony Edwards as he undergoes right knee surgery. Both teams are missing some key players, but this could be a close contest if Curry can get going for the Warriors like he did on Monday. It would be great if Lendeborg was confirmed to play, but this looks like a decent spot for the Warriors to take advantage of a Timberwolves team figuring out how to play without their leading scorer.
