The Miami Heat will be without Josh Richardson and Dru Smith. Jimmy Butler is suspended.

Nets vs Heat Prediction

I don’t want to back the Brooklyn Nets as much as the next guy, as they’re not a good team and they have a lengthy injury report. The problem is the Heat have an issue of playing down to their competition, and I don’t trust them in the big favorite role. The Heat are 2-4 ATS in their last six games when favorites of five or more points, and two of those failed covers were outright losses. The Heat have lost five of their last six games, and they’re still dealing with the Jimmy Butler nonsense, which has to be physically and mentally draining for a team where most of their top players are young. The Heat should win, but I want the points with the Nets.
