The Memphis Grizzlies have been in a slump as they are now hoping to snap a five-game losing streak after getting thrashed by the Celtics in a 131-91 road loss on Sunday. Scottie Pippen Jr led the team with 19 points off the bench, GG Jackson added 18 points on eight of 24 shooting while David Roddy chipped in with 14 points and eight rebounds. As a team, the Grizzlies shot just 38 percent from the field and 11 of 38 from the 3-point line as they struggled to keep pace right from the start, getting outscored by 70-50 in the first half before they went cold and scored just 15 points in the fourth quarter to get completely blown out. The Grizzlies will meet the Bulls after this one.
New York Knicks
Meanwhile, the New York Knicks have been on a tear as they were riding a nine-game win streak before they got stopped in their tracks by the Lakers in a 113-105 loss on Saturday. Jalen Brunson led the team with 36 points and 10 assists on 15 of 31 shooting, Donte DiVincenzo added 26 points with six rebounds and four assists while Josh Hart chipped in with 12 points, 11 rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Knicks shot just 41 percent from the field and 10 of 35 from the 3-point line as they seemed to be in control when they held the Lakers to just 21 points in the third quarter to take an eight-point lead, only to suffer a fourth-quarter collapse and allow the Lakers off the hook in a disappointing finish. The Knicks will face the Mavericks after this game.

The Grizzlies have been hit hardest out of all teams in the league this season and it’s reached it’s boiling point with a total of 13 players currently listed on the injury report. We saw the Grizzlies struggle in their big loss to the Celtics on Sunday and I’m expecting a similar result here with the Grizzlies missing even more players in this one. The Knicks are missing a couple players themselves, but this is far from a fair fight. The line is hefty here, but I still like the Knicks to get the win and cover at home.
