Nikola Jokic led the team with 33 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists, Michael Porter Jr added 23 points with nine rebounds while Christian Braun chipped in with 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Nuggets shot 54 percent from the field and 12 of 31 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 44 points in the first quarter to take an early 12-point lead.
However, the Nuggets were already trailing by halftime and just couldn’t make their open shots in the fourth quarter to get blown out on the road. Jokic barely missed all night as he shot 13 of 17 from the field and four of seven from the 3-point line, but the bench combined for just 13 points, with Russell Westbrook shooting just two of nine for his five points.
