NY Knicks vs Charlotte Hornets Prediction 12/3/25 NBA Picks Today

The Charlotte Hornets invade Madison Square Garden to take on the New York Knicks on Wednesday night.

The Charlotte Hornets have been doing it tough so far this season, but they had reeled off two surprise wins before they got stopped in their tracks by the lowly Nets in a 116-103 road defeat on Monday. Kon Knueppel led the team with 18 points, six rebounds and four assists on seven of 18 shooting, Collin Sexton added 15 points off the bench while LaMelo Ball chipped in with 12 points and 14 assists. As a team, the Hornets shot 45 percent from the field and 12 of 32 from the 3-point line as they kept pace with the Nets in a close contest until midway through the fourth quarter where the Nets closed the final 6:54 on a 20-10 run to pull away from them in the end.

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks have been in pretty good form as they’ve won six of their last nine games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after having their four-game win streak snapped by the Celtics in a 123-117 road defeat last night. Mikal Bridges drained eight 3-pointers to lead the team with 35 points on 12 of 17 shooting, Karl-Anthony Towns added 29 points on 12 of 19 shooting while Josh Hart chipped in with 19 points, seven rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Knicks shot 51 percent from the field and 19 of 44 from the 3-point line as they got off to a quick start and poured in 32 points in the first quarter to take a 14-point lead, but it didn’t even last until halftime as the Knicks couldn’t respond after getting outscored by 37-20 in the second quarter. The Knicks trailed in this one by as many as 18 points before they exploded for 41 points in the fourth quarter to make it interesting at the end. Jalen Brunson had an off night as he shot just six of 21 from the field and one of eight from the 3-point line, while Jordan Clarkson shot just one of five to finish with four points off the bench.

The Hornets are still missing Grant Williams, Tre Mann and Pat Connaughton, while the Knicks have ruled out OG Anunoby and Landry Shamet. It must be tough being a Hornets fan as they were able to pull off two impressive wins over the Bulls and the Raptors, before they lost to the ice-cold Nets in their last outing. In contrast, the Knicks have been consistently good so far this season and they were riding a four-game win streak before they lost to the Celtics last night. Maybe the Hornets can surprise everyone and pull off the upset on the road, but I think the more likely outcome is that the Knicks bounce back with a comfortable win at home in this spot.
