The Denver Nuggets have been in great shape as they’ve won seven of their last nine games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight win after beating the Bucks in a 113-107 home win on Monday. Jamal Murray led the team with 35 points and five assists on 13 of 22 shooting, Nikola Jokic tallied a triple-double of 25 points with 16 rebounds and 12 assists while Michael Porter Jr chipped in with 13 points. As a team, the Nuggets shot 48 percent from the field and just four of 18 from the 3-point line, but this win was more about their defense as they didn’t start to pull away until the third quarter where they restricted the Bucks to just 19 points.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the team with 37 points, seven rebounds and eight assists, Jalen Williams added 20 points while Josh Giddey chipped in with 13 points. As a team, the Thunder shot 44 percent from the field and 14 of 35 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in control when they took a seven-point lead late in the third quarter, but they let it go to waste in the fourth quarter where they leaked 34 points to allow the Timberwolves off the hook in the end.

The Nuggets could be shorthanded for this one as Nikola Jokic is listed as questionable due to lower back pain, while the Thunder are keeping eyes on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luguentz Dort and Chet Holmgren who are all questionable. This is definitely a game where you want to check the lineups before tipoff, but as it stands, I’m more comfortable going with the Nuggets, even if Jokic is unable to suit up.
