The Golden State Warriors and the Oklahoma City Thunder do battle at the Paycom Center on Friday night.

The Golden State Warriors are starting to heat up now as they will be gunning for a fifth straight victory after outlasting the Kings in a 102-101 home win on Wednesday. Stephen Curry led the team with 21 points, Dario Saric added 15 points off the bench while Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson scored 14 points each. As a team, the Warriors shot 48 percent from the field and 11 of 31 from the 3-point line as they trailed by 11 points, before they rallied back in the fourth quarter to escape with the narrow win at home.

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder have won three of their first five games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back here after coming up just short to the Pelicans in a 110-106 loss on Wednesday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the team with 20 points, five rebounds and eight assists, Chet Holmgren added 19 points with 11 rebounds and two blocks while Jalen Williams chipped in with 18 points. As a team, the Thunder shot 43 percent from the field and just seven of 34 from the 3-point line as they got off to a terrific start and looked to be in full control after outscoring the Pelicans by 33-14 in the first quarter. However, it was one-way traffic from that point onwards as their deficiency from behind the arc came back to bite them in the end.

The Warriors are coming into this one in great form and with a full roster, while the Thunder are going to be missing their best player in Gilgeous-Alexander. The Thunder have been playing solid basketball to start the season and they are more than capable of pulling off the upset at home, but the Warriors are deserved favorites here and I think they take advantage of the shorthanded Thunder in this spot. Give me the Warriors to escape with a win and cover at the short line.
