The Dallas Mavericks and the Orlando Magic duke it out at the Amway Center on Sunday night.

The Dallas Mavericks have been in stellar form as they’ve won 13 of their past 16 games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after dismantling the Pacers in a 132-105 home win last night. Luka Doncic led the team with 30 points and 12 assists on 12 of 21 shooting, Reggie Bullock added 23 points on eight of 11 shooting off the bench, while Maxi Kleber chipped in with 15 points and 14 assists. As a team, the Mavericks shot 53 percent from the field and 16 of 34 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 72 points in the first half to build an early double-digit lead, before going on another run in the third quarter to push the lead out to 29 points.

Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic have been in a major slump as they’ve lost 15 of their past 18 games overall, but they will be looking to build some momentum after routing the Pistons in a 119-103 home win on Friday. Franz Wagner led the team with 24 points, Terrence Ross added 21 points with six assists off the bench while Mo Bamba chipped in with 18 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks. As a team, the Magic shot 49 percent from the field and 12 of 25 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Pistons right from the start and outscored them by 39-19 in the first quarter to take an early 24-point lead which allowed the to cruise in the second half where they were never threatened.

Looking at the betting trends, the Mavericks are 5-1 ATS in their last six games playing on zero days’ rest and 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record. The Magic are 7-23-1 ATS in their last 31 home games, 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games playing on one days’ rest and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall.

Head to head, the over is 23-10 in the last 33 meetings overall, the Mavericks are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings overall and the Mavericks are 11-4 ATS in the last 15 meetings in Orlando.

The Mavericks will again be without Tim Hardaway Jr, Sterling Brown and maybe Kristaps Porzingis, while the Magic will again be missing Michael Carter-Williams, RJ Hampton and E’Twaun Moore. The Magic have found a bit of form lately with two wins in their last three outings, but it’s hard to trust a team that’s been so bad all season. The Mavericks are coming into this one a little banged up, but they are still firm favorites with Doncic in the lineup. This one could be close in the first half, but in the end, I have the Mavericks pulling away for the win and cover behind another big game from Doncic.
