Orlando Magic vs Indiana Pacers Player Prop Picks 11-13-24

The Orlando Magic face the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday in Orlando, in what should be a competitive Eastern Conference matchup. Both teams have young, talented rosters and are looking to solidify their positions in the conference standings.

The Magic, have shown moments of strong performance but have also struggled with consistency this season. In their recent win against Indiana, Paolo Banchero scored a career-high 50 points, helping Orlando secure a close 119-115 victory. Unfortunately, the Magic will be without Banchero for this one which will help the chances of Indiana getting revenge.

The Pacers, with their fast-paced offense driven by Tyrese Haliburton, have also faced ups and downs this season. They come into this game after a strong showing against the New York Knicks, where Haliburton delivered an impressive 35-point, 14-assist performance. Indiana will be looking to even the season series with Orlando and use their scoring advantage to counter Orlando’s defense.

Jalen Suggs Over 15.5 Points

Through his first 11 games, Suggs is averaging 15.3 points per game, a notable increase from his previous season average of 12.6 points per game. His field goal percentage has been steady, shooting 43.6%, though his three-point shooting sits at 32.4% as he attempts around 6.5 threes per game. Suggs has also become more efficient from the free-throw line, boasting a 90.6% success rate, a big step up from his 75.6% from the previous season.

Suggs is coming off back-to-back games where he scored under this point total scoring seven points against the Pelicans and a season-low five points against the Wizards. This is a spot I’m looking to buy low on Suggs. The Pacers are known for playing fast-paced and not making defense a priority. A lot of people would think to fade Suggs after two bad games I’ll take the contrarian route and take his over on Wednesday night.

Bennedict Mathurin Over 5.5 Rebounds

Bennedict Mathurin’s rebounding performance has been a solid part of his game in the 2024-25 NBA season. He’s currently averaging 6.1 rebounds per game over approximately 10 games. This includes about 5 defensive rebounds per game and 1.1 on the offensive end. His ability to contribute on the boards is helping the Indiana Pacers maintain a balanced attack, supporting both their scoring and defensive efforts. Mathurin’s growth as a versatile player makes him a key figure for the Pacers this season.

I’m not sure many people predicted Mathurin’s rebounding production so far this season. He’s gotten six or more rebounds in seven straight games, including two 11-rebound games. Until Vegas odds makers adjust his line, I’m going to take advantage of the value we’re getting with this number being set at 5.5.

Franz Wagner Over 24.5 Points

Franz Wagner is having a strong start scoring the ball this season, averaging 19.9 points per game over his first 11 games. He’s shooting 47.2% from the field, with a three-point percentage of 34.0% on nearly 5 attempts per game. Wagner has also been efficient from the free-throw line, converting 83.3% of his attempts. His ability to score at all three levels is essential for the Magic’s offense, and his versatility makes him a consistent threat each game.

Until Paolo Banchero gets back in the lineup I can’t help but to attack Franz Wagner’s scoring props. He’ll have the ball in his hands more than anyone on this Magic team. In his last three games, we’ve seen Wagner have a 28-point game and a 27-point game. If the Magic want to succeed without their star player Wagner will need to step up.
