The New York Knicks have hit a speed bump in their season as they’ve lost three of their last four games and they will be hoping to bounce back after coming up just short to the Jazz in a 117-113 road loss on Wednesday. Julius Randle led the team with 32 points, 12 rebounds and six assists on 14 of 23 shooting, Jalen Brunson added 23 points with eight assists while Donte DiVincenzo chipped in with 21 points. As a team, the Knicks shot 43 percent from the field and nine of 39 from the 3-point line as they fought hard to cut a 17-point fourth quarter deficit to just three points with 33.1 seconds remaining, only to run out of time in the end. The Knicks are 6th in the East with a 13-10 record and are right behind the Indiana Pacers (13-9).

Devin Booker led the team in scoring with 34 points and 12 assists on nine of 15 shooting, Kevin Durant added 27 points on nine of 18 shooting while Jusuf Nurkic chipped in with 15 points, 22 rebounds and three assists. As a team, the Suns shot 47 percent from the field and nine of 28 from the 3-point line as they looked to in control when they worked their way back from a 15-point deficit heading into the fourth quarter, but they just couldn’t hold off the Nets who just kept hitting 3-pointers. The Suns are 10th in the West with a 13-11 record and are just behind the New Orleans Pelicans (14-11).

The Knicks are still missing Mitchell Robinson who is out for an extended period, while the Suns are keeping eyes on Grayson Allen and Eric Gordon who are both questionable for this one. The Knicks have cooled off lately and their confidence took a shot to the guts after losing to the lowly Jazz in their last outing. The Suns have been in worse form with five losses in their last seven games as they can never get their starting lineup healthy at the same time. The Suns beat the Knicks by 116-113 back on Nov 26 despite Jalen Brunson pouring in 35 points, but I think the Knicks get their revenge or at least keep it close.
