Franz Wagner led the team with 32 points, nine rebounds and four steals, Paolo Banchero added 29 points with 10 rebounds and four assists while Jalen Suggs chipped in with 21 points and six assists. As a team, the Magic shot 44 percent from the field and seven of 33 from the 3-point line, but this win was set up by their defense as they were always in control after restricting the Knicks to just 15 points in the second quarter.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns have been in fair shape as they’ve split their last six games and they will be looking for a third straight win after blowing past the lowly Hornets in a 133-119 home win on Friday. Devin Booker led the team with 35 points and seven assists, Jusuf Nurkic added 24 points with 15 rebounds and two blocks on 10 of 13 shooting while Kevin Durant tallied 21 points with 11 assists on eight of 11 shooting. As a team, the Suns shot a sizzling 62 percent from the field and 18 of 30 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 36 points in the first quarter to take the early lead and they just kept building on the lead until it ballooned to 20 points. The Suns will face the Blazers, Clippers, Heat, and Grizzlies after this one.

The Magic could be shorthanded again with Jonathan Isaac and Markelle Fultz both questionable, while the Suns are still without Nassir Little. The Magic are starting to heat up again after a bit of a slump, but so are the Suns who looked great in their big win over the Hornets. It’s hard to split these two squads at the moment, but the Magic have been the more consistent team this season and I think they’re just a bit undervalued in this spot, so I’ll back the Magic with the points in what should be a close one.
