The Portland Trailblazers invade the PHX Arena to take on the Phoenix Suns on Monday night.

The Portland Trailblazers have been in red-hot form as they’ve won eight of their past 10 games, but they will be hoping to bounce back here after having their six-game win streak halted by the Wizards in a 118-111 home loss on Saturday. Damian Lillard led the team with 35 points and 12 assists, Enes Kanter added 19 points with 13 rebounds while Gary Trent Jr chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Trailblazers shot just 35 percent from the field and 19 of 55 from the 3-point line as they fought hard to take control of the game after squandering an early 14-point lead, only to go ice-cold in the fourth quarter where they managed just 19 points. Lillard had a rough shooting night as he made just 10 of 30 from the field, while Carmelo Anthony and Anfernee Simons each shot two of 10 from the field.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns have been in terrific form as they’ve won 11 of their past 13 games and they will be gunning for a third straight victory after blowing past the Grizzlies in a 128-97 road win on Saturday. Devin Booker led the team with 23 points and five assists, Mikal Bridges, Dario Saric and Cameron Payne each scored 19 points while Chris Paul chipped in with 16 points and six assists. As a team, the Suns shot 53 percent from the field and a ridiculous 24 of 46 from the 3-point line as they dominated this game right from the start and took a 31-point lead into halftime, before cruising in the second half as all five starters rested.

Looking at the betting trends, the Trailblazers are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games, 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a loss and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall. The Suns are 16-5 ATS in their last 21 home games, 19-7 ATS in their last 26 games against a team with a winning record and 27-10 ATS in their last 37 games overall.

Head to head, the under is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings in Phoenix and the Trailblazers are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall.

The Trailblazers were dealt a cruel blow when CJ McCollum went down with injury alongside Jusuf Nurkic, but they haven’t suffered any loss of momentum as Lillard has put the team on his back since then. The Suns are another team in terrific shape as they’ve won 11 of their last 13 games and they will be full of confidence following their blowout win over the Grizzlies on Saturday. This is a tough game to pick, but the Suns are certainly the deeper team and they are 16-5 ATS in their last 21 home games. I think Lillard continues his hot form with another big game, but it won’t be enough as the Suns get the win here.
