The New York Knicks travel to the Moda Center to do battle with the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night.

The New York Knicks have been in great shape as they’ve won 10 of their last 13 games overall and they will be full of confidence after arresting a three-game skid with a 112-108 road win over the Lakers on Sunday. Julius Randle led the team with 33 points, eight rebounds and five assists, RJ Barrett added 30 points on 12 of 27 shooting while Immanuel Quickley chipped in with 15 points. As a team, the Knicks shot 47 percent from the field and 11 of 37 from the 3-point line as they went back and forth with the Lakers in a really close contest, until the fourth quarter where they went on a pivotal 13-3 run to start to pull away from the Lakers and escape with the gritty win.

Meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers have been in a slump as they’ve lost six of their last eight games overall and they will be hoping to snap a three-game slide after getting thrashed by the Pelicans in a 127-110 road loss on Sunday. Anfernee Simons led the team with 17 points, Kevin Knox and Shaedon Sharpe each scored 14 points while Cam Reddish chipped in with 11 points. As a team, the Trail Blazers shot 48 percent from the field and 10 of 33 from the 3-point line, but they were poor once again on the defensive end as they leaked 42 points in the first quarter and another 35 points in the third quarter to trail by as many as 39 points in this one.

Looking at the betting trends, the Knicks are 33-13 ATS in their last 46 road games, 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 9-3-1 ATS in their last 13 games overall. The Trail Blazers are 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine home games and 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record.

Head to head, the under is 10-4 in the last 14 meetings overall and the Knicks are 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Portland.

The Knicks are shorthanded once again as Jalen Brunson is still out, while the Trail Blazers are keeping an eye on Damian Lillard who is day to day. The Knicks are playing their second game of a back to back set and they are missing their starting point guard, but they’ve been in red-hot form compared to the Trail Blazers and I think they can still get the job done as the Trail Blazers are only 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine home games.
