Indiana Pacers Betting Preview
The Indiana Pacers have been in a major slump as they’ve lost 12 of their last 14 games overall and they will be hoping to put an end to an eight-game losing streak after getting routed by the Lakers in a 128-117 road defeat on Friday. Pascal Siakam led the team with 26 points on 10 of 20 shooting, Andrew Nembhard added 17 points with eight assists while Jay Huff chipped in with 16 points, six rebounds and two blocks. As a team, the Pacers shot 47 percent from the field and eight of 35 from the 3-point line but they had no answer for the Lakers’ Luka Doncic and couldn’t really get anything going until they trailed by 24 points after the Lakers pulled their starters.
Portland Trail Blazers Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers have been doing it tough lately as they’ve lost six of their last 10 games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back after getting beaten by the Rockets in a 106-99 road defeat on Friday. Jerami Grant led the team with 21 points, Jrue Holiday added 20 points with 10 assists while Donovan Clingan added 18 points with 13 rebounds. As a team, the Trail Blazers shot 40 percent from the field and 12 of 39 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 34 points in the first quarter to open up an early 13-point lead, but they allowed the Rockets back into the contest and then had no answers in the fourth quarter where the Trail Blazers scored just 17 points to fall short in the end.

The Pacers are still missing Tyrese Haliburton and Johnny Furphy with Andrew Nembhard and Pascal Siakam both questionable, while the Trail Blazers have ruled out Shaedon Sharpe with Deni Avdija and Kris Murray both questionable. These teams have yet to clash this season and you couldn’t trust either side with any confidence at the moment, but the Trail Blazers have played decent basketball in their last two games and I think they can get a much needed win in this spot, especially if players like Avdija and Murray are able to return to the lineup.
