Memphis Grizzlies Betting Preview
The Memphis Grizzlies look like they have moved on from their ugly six-game slide as they are now aiming for a third straight victory after sneaking past the Kings in a 129-125 road win on Wednesday. Ty Jerome led the team with 28 points and seven assists, Cam Spencer added 20 points and five assists off the bench while Jaylen Wells chipped in with 18 points. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 50 percent from the field and 18 of 41 from the 3-point line as they traded shots with the pesky Kings in a close contest they could’ve gone either way until late in the fourth quarter where the Grizzlies broke free with a pivotal 5-0 run to pull ahead and escape with the upset win on the road.
Portland Trail Blazers Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers have been in a slump as they are now hoping to put an end to a six-game losing streak after getting scorched by the Suns in a 130-125 loss on Tuesday. Jerami Grant led the team with 23 points on eight of 15 shooting, Shaedon Sharpe added 19 points while Jrue Holiday chipped in with 15 points and five assists. As a team, the Trail Blazers shot 49 percent from the field and 18 of 52 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 41 points in the first quarter to lead by as many as 19 points, but they lost their focus and were always trailing after getting outscored by 34-22 in the third quarter.
Memphis v Portland Free Prediction
The Grizzlies are still playing without Ja Morant, Zach Edey and Scotty Pippen Jr, while the Trail Blazers have ruled out Matisse Thybulle and Kris Murray again with Deni Avdjia listed as doubtful. The Grizzlies were already severely depleted and now they are going through a major roster shake up with Jaren Jackson Jr traded away to the Jazz. The Trail Blazers have plenty of injuries of their own to deal with and they certainly haven’t been playing anywhere near their best lately, but this is a game they should have no trouble winning as long as they don’t look past this banged up Grizzlies squad.
