The Atlanta Hawks invade the Golden 1 Center to battle the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night. Here’s a Kings vs Hawks Prediction. This article will include a Kings vs Hawks Pick.
Atlanta Hawks Betting Preview
The Atlanta Hawks have been in decent form as they’ve won three of their last four games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after outlasting the Clippers in a 105-102 road win on Monday. Vit Krejci led the team in scoring with 28 points on nine of 13 shooting off the bench, Kristaps Porzingis added 20 points while Jalen Johnson tallied 16 points with 10 rebounds and eight assists. As a team, the Hawks shot 45 percent from the field and 13 of 34 from the 3-point line as they got off to a slow start and scored just 19 points in the first quarter to fall behind by 17 points. But they chipped away at the deficit and went on a pivotal 8-2 run late in the fourth quarter to slip away and escape with the impressive comeback win on the road.
Sacramento Kings Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in poor form as they’ve lost seven of their last nine games overall and they will be hoping to snap a three-game skid after last night’s 122-108 loss to the Nuggets. Domantas Sabonis led the team with 19 points, eight rebounds and four assists, Drew Eubanks added 19 points off the bench, Russell Westbrook tallied 14 points with eight rebounds and 11 assists, while DeMar DeRozan chipped in with 18 points. As a team, the Kings shot 48 percent from the field and 10 of 33 from the 3-point line as they took the fight to the Nuggets. They kept the margin close until the fourth quarter where they allowed 37 points to get blown out in the end.
Kings vs Hawks Prediction
The Hawks are still missing Trae Young and they are keeping an eye on Nickeil Alexander-Walker who is questionable, while the Kings are again missing Keegan Murray and Devin Carter. The Hawks are starting to build some momentum despite the absence of Young. They would’ve taken plenty of confidence from their gritty win over the Clippers on Monday, so I prefer the Hawks over the slumping Kings who are playing their second game of a back to back set. The line is short enough so I will back the Hawks to take care of business on the road.
