The Denver Nuggets pay a visit to the Sacramento Kings at the Golden 1 Center on Wednesday night.

The Denver Nuggets have been in red-hot form as they’ve won nine of their past 10 games overall and they will be aiming for a fourth straight victory after sneaking past the Warriors in a 131-124 home win on Monday. Nikola Jokic led the team with a triple-double of 32 points with 15 rebounds and 13 assists, Monte Morris and Jeff Green each scored 18 points while Austin Rivers chipped in with 15 points. As a team, the Nuggets shot a healthy 54 percent from the field and 10 of 32 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 40 points in the first quarter to take the early lead, but they found themselves in a real arm wrestle with the shorthanded Warriors until late in the fourth quarter where they went on a decisive 9-3 run to pull away and win be single digits in the end.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in rough shape as they’ve lost seven of their past nine games overall and they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after getting stopped by the Knicks in a 131-115 loss on Monday. De’Aaron Fox led the team with 24 points and seven assists, Harrison Barnes added 23 points while Domantas Sabonis chipped in with 19 points with 13 rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Kings shot 48 percent from the field and 11 of 32 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates to an early 20-point lead, before getting completely destroyed in the second half where they got outscored by an 83-52 in what must have seemed like a nightmare to some players.

Looking at the betting trends, the Nuggets are 6-0 ATS in their last six road games and 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games overall. The Kings are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games against a team with a winning record and 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a double-digit loss at home.

Head to head, the over is 6-1 in the last seven meetings overall and the Nuggets are 2-6 ATS in the last eight meetings overall.

The Nuggets have listed Will Barton as questionable for this one, while the Kings have listed Jeremy Lamb and Maurice Harkless are questionable. These two teams have already met three times this season with the Nuggets winning each meeting and it’s getting increasingly difficult to trust the Kings who just blew a 20-point lead in their last game. The line is suspiciously short, but I’m sticking with the Nuggets to get the win and cover in this spot.
