The Los Angeles Clippers and the Sacramento Kings duke it out at the Golden 1 Center on Friday night.
Los Angeles Clippers Betting Preview
The Los Angeles Clippers were arguably the hottest team in the league for a six-week stretch, but they’ve cooled off with three losses in their last four games and are now hoping to bounce back after getting humbled by the Cavaliers in a 124-91 loss on Wednesday. Kawhi Leonard led the team with 25 points, seven rebounds and four assists, John Collins added 19 points while Kobe Brown chipped in with 10 points off the bench. As a team, the Clippers shot 46 percent from the field and a miserly six of 28 from the 3-point line as they got off to a terrible start and scored just 18 points in the first quarter to trail by 20 points going into halftime and things only got worse in the second half where the Cavaliers ran up the scoreboard.
Sacramento Kings Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been ice-cold lately as they’ve dropped 17 of their last 21 games overall and they will be hoping to arrest a 10-game losing streak after getting beaten by the Grizzlies in a 129-125 loss on Wednesday. Domantas Sabonis led the team with 24 points, 15 rebounds and three assists on 10 of 18 shooting, DeMar DeRozan added 20 points with five assists while Nique Clifford chipped in with 15 points and five assists off the bench. As a team, the Kings shot 45 percent from the field and 11 of 36 from the 3-point line as they went back and forth with the Grizzlies in a tight contest that remained within eight points for the entire game. However, when the game was on the line, it was the Grizzlies who nailed back to back shots to start to pull away with 2:00 left in the fourth quarter.
Los Angeles v Sacramento Free Prediction
The Clippers have ruled out Bradley Beal again, but they could have the newly acquired Darius Garland, Bennedict Mathurin and Isaiah Jackson ready to go, while the Kings have ruled out Keegan Murray once again. The Clippers haven’t been at their best over the last week or so, but they were on fire before this mini slump which is more than you can say about the slumping Kings who can’t buy a win these days. Be sure to check the lineups before tipoff as there are a lot of players with a questionable tag, but as of this time of writing a prefer a play on the Clippers at the short line.
