The Miami Heat travel to the Golden 1 Center to battle the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night.

Miami Heat Betting Preview

The Miami Heat have been struggling lately as they’ve lost five of their last seven games overall and they will be hoping for a better effort after getting humbled by the Warriors in a 135-112 road defeat last night. Norman Powell led the team with 21 points, Andrew Wiggins added 18 points while Kel’el Ware chipped in with 15 points on seven of 10 shooting off the bench. As a team, the Heat shot just 39 percent from the field and 13 of 45 from the 3-point line as they fought hard to keep pace with the Warriors in a tightly contested first half, only to get blown out by 65-46 in the second half to get completely blown out in the end. Davion Mitchell had a rough game as he shot just one of six from the field for his seven points while Bam Adebayo had a night to forget as he scored just four points on one of 13 shooting.

Sacramento Kings Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in pretty good form lately as they were riding a four-game win streak before they got stopped in their tracks by the Trail Blazers in a 117-110 loss on Sunday. Russell Westbrook led the team with 23 points and seven assists on nine of 15 shooting, Malik Monk provided the spark off the bench with 23 points while Zach LaVine chipped in with 18 points on five of 13 shooting. As a team, the Kings shot 49 percent from the field and 11 of 31 from the 3-point line as they allowed the Trail Blazers to go on a 14-2 run in the second quarter to fall behind by double digits and they just couldn’t sustain any run to threaten at the end with DeMar DeRozan scoring just 14 points and Maxime Raynaud scoring just six points on three of 11 shooting. On the defensive end, the Kings had no answer for the Trail Blazers who were led by Deni Avdija who torched them for 30 points and Shaedon Sharpre who scored 27 points.

The Heat are still shorthanded with Tyler Herro out again, while the Kings have again ruled out Keegan Murray who is dealing with an ankle injury. The Heat could really do with a win just to steady their season, but they’ve been struggling lately and are now playing their second game of a back to back set after getting smashed by the Warriors last night. In contrast, the Kings have looked like a new team lately and they were playing some great basketball before they lost a close one to the red-hot Trail Blazers in their last outing. The Kings weren’t able to get it done in their last game, but I think they represent great value as the underdogs at home in this matchup.
