The Portland Trailblazers pay a visit to the Golden 1 Center to battle the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night.

The Portland Trailblazers have been a little inconsistent so far this season as they’ve split their eight games, but they will be looking to build some momentum after blowing past the struggling Timberwolves in a 135-117 home win on Thursday. Damian Lillard led the way with 39 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, CJ McCollum added 20 points with four assists while Jusuf Nurkic chipped in with 17 points on eight of 10 shooting. As a team, the Trailblazers shot a healthy 54 percent from the field and 18 of 41 from the 3-point line as they set up the win with a season-high 47 points in the second quarter to lead by 19 points at halftime, before blowing the lead out to 33 points in the third quarter.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in a bit of a rut as they’ve lost four of their last five games and they will be hoping to bounce back after getting routed by the Raptors in a 144-123 loss last night. De’Aaron Fox led the team with 23 points on nine of 11 shooting, Harrison Barnes added 21 points with eight assists while Marvin Bagley, Buddy Hield and Tyrese Haliburton each scored 15 points. As a team, the Kings shot a healthy 56 percent from the field and 15 of 34 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 43 points in the first quarter, only to get blown out in the second half where they were outscored by 73-49. Perimeter defense was a glaring flaw in this loss as the Rockets were allowed to make 20 of 39 from the 3-point line which was just too much for the Kings to overcome.

Looking at the betting trends, the Trailblazers are 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 road games against a team with a winning home record and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games playing on one days rest. The Kings are 4-1 ATS in their last five Saturday games and 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight games playing on zero days rest.

Head to head, the over is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall.

The Trailblazers are starting to build some momentum as they are coming into this one fresh off a blowout over the Timberwolves while the Kings have been struggling and are coming off a blowout loss to the struggling Raptors. The Trailblazers are 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 road games against a team with a winning home record and they’re catching the Kings who are playing on zero days rest. Give me the Trailblazers to get the win and cover behind another big game from Lillard.
