De’Aaron Fox led the team with 23 points, six rebounds and five assists, Harrison Barnes added 20 points while Domantas Sabonis tallied a triple-double of 13 points with 12 rebounds and 10 assists. As a team, the Kings shot 43 percent from the field and 15 of 32 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 34 points in the first quarter to take an early 15-point lead which kept them in front until the Mavericks took over midway through the fourth quarter. The game was still up for grabs in the final minute of the game, before the Mavericks’ Dante Exum drained a clutch 3-pointer with just 28.1 seconds left on the clock.
