The Washington Wizards invade the Golden 1 Center to take on the Sacramento Kings on Monday night. Here’s a Wizards vs Kings prediction.

Washington Wizards 

The Washington Wizards have been in terrible shape as they’ve won just two of their last 16 games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back after coming up just short to the Suns in a 112-108 road loss last night. Daniel Gafford led the team with 26 points, 17 rebounds and two blocks, Tyus Jones added 22 points with 11 assists and six steals while Kyle Kuzma chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Wizards shot just 41 percent from the field and 14 of 46 from the 3-point line as they got off to a strong start and kept the Suns in check early on to build a 16-point lead. However, they couldn’t maintain that intensity and eventually got blown out by 31-19 in the fourth quarter to end up short in a disappointing finish.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in decent shape as they’ve won seven of their last 10 games and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after blowing past the Jazz in a 125-104 home win on Saturday. Keegan Murray led the team with 47 points on 16 of 23 shooting, Domantas Sabonis tallied 20 points with 10 rebounds and eight assists on nine of 10 shooting while Malik Monk chipped in with 18 points and eight assists off the bench. As a team, the Kings shot 54 percent from the field and a sizzling 22 of 45 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 35 points in the first quarter to jump out in front, before they exploded for 44 points in the third quarter to push the lead out to 30 points at one stage.

Wizards vs Kings prediction

The Wizards are still missing Delon Wright and Landry Shamet, while the Kings are keeping an eye on De’Aaron Fox who is currently listed as questionable for this one. The Wizards were good enough to beat the Pacers on Friday and they followed it up with a narrow loss to the Suns last night, but the Kings come into this one in pretty good form and I think the Kings will be too much for the Wizards regardless of whether Fox plays or not.
