The Denver Nuggets have been in great shape as they’ve won four of their last five games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after routing the Mavericks in a 130-104 win on Monday. Jamal Murray led the team with 22 points on eight of 14 shooting, Aaron Gordon added 21 points with five assists on seven of nine shooting, Reggie Jackson scored 20 points off the bench while Zeke Nnaji chipped in with 14 points off the bench. As a team, the Nuggets shot 56 percent from the field and 14 of 26 from the 3-point line as they kept the Mavericks in check early, holding them to just 20 points in the first quarter to take the early lead and they just never took their foot off the gas, outpacing the Mavericks right till the end.

Pascal Siakam led the team with 27 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, Scottie Barnes and Gary Trent Jr scored 22 points each while Dennis Schroder chipped in with 13 points and five assists. As a team, the Raptors shot 51 percent from the field and eight of 29 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in trouble when they scored just 19 points in the first quarter, but they stayed within striking distance and made their move in a 35-18 fourth quarter to earn the much-needed victory at home.

The Nuggets have all their key players available, they’re starting to heat up again and they looked great in their massive win over the Mavericks on Monday. Meanwhile, the Raptors were really in poor form before they pulled one out of the fire against the Hornets in their last outing. These two teams have yet to meet this season, but the Nuggets are clearly the team in better shape and I expect them to get the job done on the road at the short line thanks to another triple-double from Jokic.
