Evan Mobley led the team with 23 points on nine of 10 shooting, Jarrett Allen added 19 points while Caris LeVert chipped in with 15 points, five assists and four steals. As a team, the Cavaliers shot 46 percent from the field and eight of 25 from the 3-point line as they struggled to keep pace with the hot-shooting Nuggets from the start, falling behind by 10 points going into halftime before they got blown out by 36-21 in the third quarter to lose big in the end. Donovan Mitchell struggled in this one as he shot just three of 12 from the field while Georges Niang finished with just four points on two of eight shooting.
Utah Jazz
Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz have been in terrible shape as they’ve lost 15 of their last 17 games overall and they will be hoping to avoid a 10th straight defeat after getting trounced by the Kings in a 127-106 road defeat on Sunday. Brice Sensabaugh led the team with 22 points, Collin Sexton scored 22 points while Taylor Hendricks and Keyonte George each scored 18 points. As a team, the Jazz shot 41 percent from the field and 16 of 41 from the 3-point line as they did their best to hang with the Kings in a tightly contested first half, but they couldn’t maintain that intensity and could never get back into the contest after getting blown out by 39-25 in the third quarter. Kris Dunn had a rough game as he scored just five points on two of nine shooting, while Johnny Juzang scored just three points on one of seven shooting.

The line is hefty, but I am backing the Cavaliers to get the much-needed big win on the road.
