As a team, the Warriors shot 45 percent from the field and 18 of 47 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Clippers right from the start and looked to be in full control when they led by 15 points in the third quarter, but they took their foot off the gas and it cost them in the fourth quarter where they leaked 44 points to suffer one of their more painful defeats of the season.

Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz have been in a major slump lately as they’ve lost six of their last eight games overall and they will be hoping to snap a three-game skid after getting routed by the Lakers in a 138-122 loss last night. Collin Sexton led the team with 18 points on eight of 15 shooting, Jordan Clarkson added 17 points with five assists off the bench while Lauri Markkanen chipped in with 16 points and eight rebounds. As a team, the Jazz shot 48 percent from the field and 14 of 45 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in control when they poured in 41 points in the second quarter to keep pace with the Lakers, until the third quarter where they got outscored by 38-23 to trail the rest of the way. The Jazz just weren’t good on the defensive end as they allowed the Lakers to shoot over 57 percent from the field and they just had no answer for the Lakers’ duo of Anthony Davis and Rui Hachimura who combined for 73 points.
