Miami Heat Betting Preview
The Miami Heat have been in a rut as they’ve lost six of their last nine games overall and they will be hoping for a better effort after getting trampled by the Trail Blazers in a 127-110 road defeat on Thursday. Bam Adebayo led the team with 32 points and 10 rebounds on 13 of 24 shooting, Norman Powell added 18 points while Simone Fontecchio chipped in with 17 points off the bench. As a team, the Heat shot 46 percent from the field and just nine of 45 from the 3-point line as they went back and forth with the Trail Blazers in a closely contested first half, but that all changed in the second half where they got outscored by 63-47 to get blown out in the end. Pelle Larsson had a quiet game of just six points while Jaime Jacquez Jr scored just four points on one of seven shooting off the bench.
Utah Jazz Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz have been in terrible shape as they’ve lost 11 of their last 14 games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back here after getting beaten by the Spurs in a 126-109 loss on Thursday. Ace Bailey led the team with 25 points on 11 of 16 shooting, Keyonte George added 23 points with five assists while Jusuf Nurkic tallied a triple-double of 17 points with 11 rebounds and 14 assists. As a team, the Jazz shot 48 percent from the field and 12 of 30 from the 3-point line as they poured in 39 points in the third quarter to overcome a 12-point halftime deficit, but they couldn’t maintain that pace and managed just 17 points in the fourth quarter to suffer another double digit defeat.
Miami v Utah Free Prediction
The Heat are still missing some players with Kel’el Ware, Tyler Herro and Davion Mitchell all out, while the Jazz have ruled out Georges Niang, Walker Kessler and Lauri Markkanen. The Heat have really struggled to get anything going lately and they didn’t look great in their blowout loss to the Trail Blazers on Thursday, but now they’re up against an ice-cold Jazz team who have been in worse form as they continue to deal with injuries to key players. You really couldn’t back either side with any confidence these days, but the Heat are getting desperate for a win and I think they finally found a team they can beat in the slumping Jazz.
