An interesting inter-conference clash in the NBA will be played on Saturday, February 3, and here you can take a look at the Warriors vs Hawks Player Prop Bets. The Golden State Warriors visit Atlanta looking for the third straight win, while the Atlanta Hawks will try to get the fourth consecutive victory.
Warriors vs Hawks Player Prop Bets – Trae Young Over 25.5 Points (-140)
Trae Young missed three games a couple of weeks ago, including the one against the Warriors. Since his return to the floor, Young scored 26+ points in all four games, and I am hoping for another 26+ point display in this one.
Young leads the Hawks in points (27.1), assists (11.0), steals (1.5), and minutes per game (36.5) this season. Only in the last two games, Young combined for 13 three-pointers, and considering he has a favorable matchup against the Warriors, I think Trae will have a great shooting night.
Young is either deadly from downtown or the free-throw line. In the first two games on his return from an injury, Young made 21 free throws and only three triples. In the next two, I mentioned 13 triples, while he made just three free throws.
Golden State allows 25.7 ppg to the opposing point guards.
Klay Thompson Under 18.5 Points (-110)
Klay Thompson scored only 14 points in the previous game against Memphis. He dropped two shots from beyond the arc, winning the bet for me as I backed him under 3.5 threes. Now, Steve Kerr will move Klay to the bench and will start Brandin Podziemski as the shooting guard tonight.
Podziemski impressed with a double-double in Memphis, so he will likely log 30+ minutes again. Coming off the bench, Thompson will probably lead the second unit in points, but he is not the old Klay we used to know. I don’t think he will score more than 18 points, even though he faces one of the weakest defenses in the NBA.
Thompson did score 24 points against the Hawks ten days ago, but he was a starter in that game and made five three-pointers. Atlanta does allow a league-high 24.5 ppg to the opposing shooting guards, but with Podziemski expected to start, I don’t believe Thompson will go for 19+ points here.
Hopefully, both the Warriors vs Hawks Player Prop Bets will make us a profit tonight. The bettors who like NBA prop picks can check out the Nets vs 76ers Player Prop Bets for Saturday, February 3.
