The Washington Wizards and Philadelphia 76ers meet Wednesday in game two of the NBA East Playoffs at the Wells Fargo Center.

The Washington Wizards could use an upset win here to even up the series at 1-1. The Washington Wizards are averaging 118 points on 55.7 percent shooting and allowing 125 points on 49.5 percent shooting. Bradley Beal is averaging 33 points and 10 rebounds while Russell Westbrook is averaging 16 points and 14 assists. Davis Bertans is the third double-digit scorer and Alex Len is grabbing three rebounds. The Washington Wizards are shooting 40 percent from beyond the arc and 80 percent from the free throw line. The Washington Wizards are allowing 31.3 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 41 rebounds per game.

The Philadelphia 76ers look for another win to take a quick 2-0 series lead. The Philadelphia 76ers are averaging 125 points on 49.5 percent shooting and allowing 118 points on 55.7 percent shooting. Tobias Harris is averaging 37 points and six rebounds while Joel Embiid is averaging 30 points and three assists. Seth Curry is the third double-digit scorer and Danny Green is dishing two assists. The Philadelphia 76ers are shooting 31.3 percent from beyond the arc and 69.7 percent from the free throw line. The Philadelphia 76ers are allowing 40 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 40 rebounds per game.

The Wizards are 18-7-1 ATS in their last 26 road games and 19-6-1 ATS in their last 26 games overall. The 76ers are 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 home games and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games playing on 2 days rest. The over is 7-3 in Wizards last 10 overall. The over is 4-0 in 76ers last 4 home games. The Wizards are 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Philadelphia and 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings.

The Washington Wizards had their chances to win game one, but they turned into a turnover machine in the fourth quarter and blew it. In fact, if you only look at the numbers, the Wizards should have won the game. You don’t often see a team shoot 55 percent from the field and end up on the losing end. The Philadelphia 76ers are obviously the better team here and should make quick work of the Wizards, but Washington proved it can score in this series and we should get the best version of Beal and Westbrook with them facing a potential 0-2 hole. Like I did in game one, give me the Wizards and the points.
