As a team, the Raptors shot 52 percent from the field and 11 of 30 from the 3-point line as they poured in 35 points in the first quarter to take an early 11-point lead, but they just had no answer for the Thunder who dominated the rest of the game to send the Raptors to another massive defeat at home. The Raptors will meet the Nets after this one.
Washington Wizards
Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards have lost 21 of their last 24 games overall, but they will be eager to build some momentum after snapping a five-game losing streak with a 109-102 win over the Kings on Thursday. Kyle Kuzma led the team with 31 points, six rebounds and five assists on 13 of 22 shooting, Deni Avdija added 17 points with nine rebounds and five assists while Corey Kispert chipped in with 15 points on six of nine shooting. As a team, the Wizards shot 50 percent from the field and 10 of 25 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Kings from the start and built a 19-point lead which was more than enough to hold off a late charge from the Kings who rallied in the fourth quarter.

You really couldn’t back either side with any confidence as these have been two of the worst teams in the league, but the Wizards looked like a different team in their surprise win over the Kings on Thursday and I think they can surprise the Raptors in this one if they come out with the same intensity.
