The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Denver Broncos meet Sunday in week 3 NFL action at Empower Field at Mile High.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers look for their first road victory to get a game above a .500 record. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have split their last eight road games. Tom Brady is completing 64.8 percent of his passes for 456 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions. Brady has two or less touchdown passes in six straight games. Mike Evans and Scotty Miller have combined for 190 receiving yards and two touchdowns while Chris Godwin has six receptions. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers ground game is averaging 104 yards per contest, and Leonard Fournette leads the way with 108 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, Tampa Bay is allowing 25.5 points and 349 yards per game. Devin White leads the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with 26 tackles, Jason Pierre-Paul has two sacks and Carlton Davis has on interception.

The Denver Broncos need a win here to avoid a disappointing 0-3 start to the season. The Denver Broncos have won five of their last seven home games. Drew Lock is completing 60.5 percent of his passes for 236 yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions. Lock and Jeff Driskel have combined for three touchdown passes this season. Noah Fant and Jerry Jeudy have combined for 256 receiving yards and two touchdowns while Courtland Sutton has three receptions. The Denver Broncos ground game is averaging 105.5 yards per contest, and Melvin Gordon III leads the way with 148 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Denver is allowing 21 points and 393.5 yards per game. Alexander Johnson leads the Denver Broncos with 20 tackles, Jeremiah Attaochu has one sack and Justin Simmons has one interception.

The Buccaneers are 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite, 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 road games and 3-1-2 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Broncos are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games, 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as an underdog and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The over is 14-2 in Buccaneers last 16 games overall. The under is 18-8-1 in Broncos last 27 games overall. The road team is 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 meetings.

The Denver Broncos aren’t playing good football out of the gate and now their offense is just clobbered with injuries from Sutton to Lock, and I have little confidence in Driskel at the quarterback position. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers looked much better last week than they did in their season opener and the defense is starting to settle down into a respectable unit. With the banged up Broncos, the Bucs should have their way in this game. I’ll eat the chalk.
